who's your cheerleader?

Greetings and welcome! For those that don't know me, I'm Becky, a certified Holistic Wellness Coach and the founder of Interwoven Wellness. I support women dealing with stress, burnout, and exhaustion who want to conquer low energy, unhealthy cravings, and restless sleep, helping them feel more energized and balanced.

Do you ever stop to ask why everything falls apart with our daily self-care habits when the dial of stress and uncertainty gets turned up? One day we are feeling so good about our daily routine and then something comes along and in an instant, our routine is obliterated. It's so common that it's almost expected. But have you ever asked why that is?

What if we had our own personal cheerleader to help us on difficult days? Whether it's lending emotional support during tough times, providing encouragement when we are down, motivating us when we lack desire or standing next to us to give us courage when we are scared.

2025 has been quite colorful so far (insert whatever word works best for you). What we are going through is allowing us to practice adaptability and compassion. To wait for life to settle down or go how we want is a direct ticket to dissatisfaction. You see, life is change. And sometimes it's accepting the change that changes everything. Maybe it's a change in relationship status, or our changing body (um, hello perimenopause), raising kiddos, empty nesting, health struggles, natural disasters or just making it through the day. I want to remind you that nobody has it all figured out. We all stumble. We all cave to pressure, stress or weak will-power from time to time. The key is to have such a strong relationship with ourselves that when turmoil arises, we can be our own cheerleader.

If life feels chaotic, unnerving or overwhelming, let your inner cheerleader take over. Let her motivate you to make better choices...listen to her when she says go to bed earlier. Smile at her when she tells you to just let it go. You see, you always have a choice. Empower yourself to maintain your control despite external circumstances. Your inner cheerleader is always there. If you can't hear her there might be too much noise in your life.

Ways to Reduce the Noise

  • Turn off your phone - including news, social media...all of it

  • Take big, slow breaths - try this lying on the ground flat on your back for extra grounding

  • Meditate

  • Color - yes adults can still color!

  • Take a walk - the quieter the place the better

  • Start a Gratitude Journal - focus on what you have, not what you don't

Surprisingly, the tools to reduce the noise are also the tools to bring us back to a state of peace and calm ;)

Community is so important and I hope in some way I can be a part of that support team for you. Whether it's a wellness tip, a thought-provoking question or a simple reminder to love yourself more, the purpose of my blog is to invoke thought and curiosity in your life.
